Strumica and Popova kula winery tour from Skopje

Departure from Skopje with our vehicle and our local tour guide. We will drive to Strumica (165 km from Skopje, 2 hours and 15 minutes driving), where we can visit the medieval monasteries: St. Leonthius in Vodocha and Holy Mother Merciful in Veljusa. After that we are going to visit the Smolare waterfall, the biggest in Macedonia (39 metres). On our way back to Skopje we can visit Stobi, the biggest ancient roman complex of this type in Macedonia. We can stop for a lunch at the restaurant of Popova Kula Winery, tasting different varieties of indigenous Macedonian wines.
